Assignment 2 "Problem and solution:"

Hello;

Let me talking about global warming, introducing the problem and the solutions which being made by scientifist and had been mediatized in different developed countries by different kind of supports like for example the film made by Al Gore "an inconvenient truth"

1) introduction of the problem:

Global warming refers to the increase in the average temperature of the Earth's near-surface air and oceans in recent decades and its projected continuation.

The global average air temperature near the Earth's surface raised 0.74 ± 0.18 °C (1.33 ± 0.32 °F) during the last 100 years.
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) concludes, "most of the observed increase in globally averaged temperatures since the mid-20th century is very likely due to the observed increase in anthropogenic greenhouse gas concentrations» via the greenhouse effect.

These basic conclusions have been endorsed by at least 30 scientific societies and academies of science, including all of the national academies of science of the major industrialized countries.
While individual scientists have voiced disagreement with some of the main conclusions of the IPCC, the overwhelming majority of scientists working on climate change are in agreement with them.

Climate model projections summarized by the IPCC indicate that average global surface temperature will likely rise a further 1.1 to 6.4 °C (2.0 to 11.5 °F) during the 21st century.
The range of values results from the use of differing scenarios of future greenhouse gas emissions as well as models with differing climate sensitivity.

Consequences for the future generation:

Although most studies focus on the period up to 2100, warming and sea level rise are expected to continue for more than a millennium even if greenhouse gas levels are stabilized. The delay in reaching equilibrium is a result of the large heat capacity of the oceans.

Increasing global temperatures will cause sea level to rise, and is expected to increase the intensity of extreme weather events and to change the amount and pattern of precipitation. Other effects of global warming include changes in agricultural yields, glacier retreat, species extinctions, and increases in the ranges of disease vectors.

Remaining scientific uncertainties include the amount of warming expected in the future, and how warming and related changes will vary from region to region around the globe. There is ongoing political and public debate worldwide regarding what, if any, action should be taken to reduce or reverse future warming or to adapt to its expected consequences.
Most national governments have signed and ratified the Kyoto Protocol, aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

ASSIGNMENT 1

Our association " Sound light system " established by 3 friends sharing the same ambition for the musical culture with the aim of proposing in lesser cost various animations for the other French Riviera associations which want a privileged moment.

Description of the activity:

Sound System:

A sound reinforcement system is an arrangement of microphones, electronic signal processors, amplifiers, and loudspeakers that makes live or pre-recorded sounds"usually music or speech" louder, or that distributes the sound to a larger or more distant audience.

A sound reinforcement system may be very complex, including hundreds of microphones, complex mixing and signal processing systems, tens of thousands of watts of amplification, and multiple loudspeaker arrays, all overseen by a team of audio engineers and technicians.
On the other hand, a sound reinforcement system can be as simple as a small PA system in a coffeehouse, consisting of a single microphone connected to a self-powered 100-watt loudspeaker system.
In both cases, these systems reinforce sound to make it louder or distribute it to a wider audience.

Mixing consoles:

Mixing consoles are the heart of a sound reinforcement system.

This is where the operator can mix, equalize and add effects to sound sources.

Multiple consoles can be used for different applications in a single sound reinforcement system. In sound reinforcement, the main or FOH (Front of House) mixing console must be located where the operator can see and hear the action on stage.

Some venues with permanent systems installed, place the mixing console within an enclosed booth, but this approach is more appropriate for broadcast and recording applications. In sound reinforcement, mixing from an enclosed booth prevents the operator from hearing the combined effect of the artist, the loudspeakers, the audience, the mix and the acoustics of the room.

Large music productions often use a separate stage monitor mixing console, which is dedicated to creating mixes for the performers' on-stage monitors. These consoles are often placed at the side of the stage so that the operator can communicate with the performers on stage.
